Therapy 2000 is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work PRN in the Houston Medical Center/Museum District. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of pediatric SLP experience, Texas licensure, and comfort with home-health settings.

Qualifications

• Current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in Texas.
• 3+ years as a pediatric SLP.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related areas (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensiveSpeech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care.
• Meet weekly minimum patient visit requirements as needed by the agency.
• Complete chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork on time.
• Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
