Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to support our pediatric outpatient clinic and preschool programs in Nashville, TN. The role involves evaluating and treating infants to adolescents, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and providing caregiver education to families.

Experience with ASD, AAC, hearing loss, and fluency disorders is preferred. A CCC-SLP and Tennessee licensure are required, with a minimum of one year in pediatric SLP practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Minimum one year of pediatric Speech-Language Pathology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech-language evaluations and treatment services for infants, children, and adolescents.
• Supports both pediatric outpatient clinic and preschool programs as staffing needs arise.
• Works with children with ASD, developmental disorders, speech and language delays, hearing loss, fluency disorders, and AAC needs.
• Develops individualized treatment plans to improve communication, language development, social participation, and functional outcomes.
• Collaborates with families, educators, physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintains accurate documentation in Epic according to standards.
