Job summary

UNC Health's Hospitals Rehabilitation Service Line is seeking a compassionate, part-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality care for patients from birth to 21 years old in a 24-hour weekly schedule.

You will work within a multidisciplinary pediatric team, diagnose and treat developmental and language disorders, and contribute to mentorship and clinical program development in Chapel Hill, NC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• ASHA certification and North Carolina licensure required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Completes speech-language pathology documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines.
• Manages daily caseload with efficiency and meets productivity standards.
• Administers basic evaluation and diagnostic testing; develops a plan of care and communicates progress.
• Provides clinical precepting and teaching for graduate students, staff, and clinical fellows.
