Job summary

UNC Health Care in Chapel Hill is seeking a part-time Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality care across the pediatric continuum for birth to 21 years, in a 24-hour weekly schedule. You will address developmental and neurological habilitation/rehabilitation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary pediatric team.

Responsibilities include documentation, evaluation, planning care, and mentoring students and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• ASHA certification and NC licensure as SLP preferred.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Completes speech-language pathology documentation, billing, and statistics per team guidelines.
• Administers evaluation and diagnostic testing and develops a plan of care to achieve patient goals.
• Provides clinical precepting and teaching for students and staff.
• Assists in planning new clinical programs and participates in departmental meetings.
