Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program recognized by ASHA; OR a Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Alaska.
• One year of experience working with children with special needs, developmental delay, or disability.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS/NRP/ATLS ALSO and related certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical speech and language pathology services to customer-owners in center-based settings.
• Assess, diagnose and establish a plan of care and treatment interventions to improve communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support pediatric clients and families.
