Job summary

Blythedale Children's Hospital seeks a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat medically complex pediatric patients from birth to 18 years old. You will develop treatment plans, counsel families, and document visits in the EMR while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, an active NYS SLP license, and at least 3 years in pediatrics; ASHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active New York State SLP license required.
• Minimum of 3 years pediatric experience.
• ASHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat medically complex pediatric patients, birth to 18 years old.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Provide counseling to patients and families regarding test results and goals.
• Create accurate documentation in an electronic medical record system.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings with medical staff and education teams.
• Collaborate with teams across disciplines to support outcomes.
