Job summary

THERAPY 2000 is a home-based provider offering pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services in the Mesquite, TX area. The Pediatric Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist/CF will serve families in the Mesquite region from our DFW division, with part-time availability and feeding experience preferred.

The role requires Texas licensure, reliability, and flexibility to adapt to business needs. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Texas SLP license is required.
• Reliability and flexibility to shift priorities as needed.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop, email, browser).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care.
• Meet a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Complete patient charts, progress summaries, call logs and paperwork on time.
• Attend agency meetings to align on expectations for high-quality care.
• Adhere to agency policies and laws related to home-health pediatric therapy.

Job Details: Job Location: Mesquite - Mesquite, TX, Position Type: Part Time, THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric BilingualSpeech Language Pathologist/CFto serve families in theMesquite areas.This positionis based in our DFWdivision, and can be Part-time. FEEDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.

Qualifications: What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).

Bonus points for:

• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
