Job summary

HSHS Medical Group's St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time day shift.

The ideal candidate holds a master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology, state licensure or eligibility, and a current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree (master’s or doctorate) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement treatment plans.
• Delegate and direct therapy services across disciplines as needed.
• Educate patients, families, students, and staff on therapy goals and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
