Formación

• Licensure by Missouri Commission for Speech-Language Pathologists is required.
• CCC certification from ASHA is required; CCC must be obtained within 2 years of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and participate in training, education and supervision of students/fellows to improve knowledge and performance.
• Administer treatment addressing speech, language and swallowing impairments.
• Complete documentation according to MU Health Care guidelines and policies.
• Evaluate speech, language and swallowing functions with appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Interpret findings to medical professionals, patients, and caregivers.
• Maintain ethics and licensure standards per ASHA and Missouri Practice Act.
• May complete department-specific duties as outlined in dept documents.
