Job summary

MultiCare Health System’s Children’s Village in Yakima seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to deliver clinical services to children with developmental needs within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, diagnose and treat pediatric communication disorders, coordinating with physicians and therapists to optimize outcomes.

Requirements include CCC-SLP through ASHA or CFY with supervision, WA licensure or interim permit, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA or CFY in progress with supervision
• Licensed in Washington or interim permit
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, interpretation and reporting of clinical observations
• Perform patient assessments with physicians and develop treatment plans
• Conduct and interpret videofluoroscpic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic swallowing
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
