Job summary

MultiCare in Yakima, Washington is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to provide clinical services and collaborate with patients, families and health professionals across the medical community. This full-time role involves direct patient care and interdisciplinary communication in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate holds CCC-SLP or is completing CFY under supervision, is licensed in Washington (or eligible for an interim permit), and maintains current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• CCC-SLP certification from ASHA or CFY in progress with supervision.
• Licensed as Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or interim permit.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, interpretation, and reporting of clinical observations.
• Perform patient assessments with physician and develop treatment plans.
• Perform and interpret videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing.
