Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. seeks a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide pediatric services from neonatal to adolescent. The role includes evaluation, planning, and treatment across speech, language, cognitive communication, feeding and swallowing, with family-centered care.

This PRN position requires AZ license, BLS, and ASHA credentials or CFY eligibility, with opportunities to supervise interns and support a busy pediatric rehab team.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (or higher) in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Pediatric experience preferred; MBS or other instrumental test experience preferred.
• ASHA certification or CFY eligibility; ASHA pediatric/specialty certification preferred.
• AZ Department of Health Services license required prior to start date; BLS required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats pediatric patients across speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, feeding, and swallowing.
• Develops age-appropriate treatment plans with measurable goals and timeframes.
• Provides family/guardian education to maximize function at home and in the community.
• Maintains accurate documentation and complies with standards, productivity targets, and policies.
• Supervises rehab technicians and students as needed.
