Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• 1–2 years of experience with children birth–21 preferred (new graduates considered).
• Must possess VA state license to practice Speech Therapy.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform developmental screenings/assessments and provide speech therapy services.
• Educate families/caregivers on intervention strategies for home and community settings.
• Provide services in clinic-based settings with flexible scheduling.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans and discuss goals with parents; recommend further assessments as needed.
• Attend monthly agency staff meetings and prepare progress reports at six-month intervals and annual reviews.
• Maintain client records and submit them within deadlines.
