Job summary

Talking Tadpoles, LLC seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about growing clinically and building strong relationships with families. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and the option to move to full-time later, with work at Weatherford or Saginaw/Fort Worth clinics.

You will provide pediatric therapy, complete evaluations, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a supportive, mentorship-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current Texas SLP license or eligibility.
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate professionally with clinical and administrative teams.
• Commitment to ethical, family-centered care.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech-language therapy in accordance with evidence-based practice and clinic guidelines.
• Complete evaluations, re-evaluations, and reassessments in a timely and defensible manner.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on assessment findings.
• Deliver patient care within scope of practice and demonstrated clinical competencies.
• Educate and communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate instruction and support.
• Document evaluations, daily notes, and patient progress accurately and timely in the EMR.
• Participate in staff development, mentorship, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and in-services.
• Support quality improvement and clinic initiatives as needed.
• Ability to arrive to assigned locations on time and maintain regular, reliable attendance.
• Ability to work scheduled hours.
• Meticulous attention to detail over the course of the workday.
• Ability to sustain physical and mental activity throughout a scheduled workday.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emotionally charged environments.
• Lift and carry up to 30–40 pounds occasionally.
• Maintain prolonged standing or sitting.
• Maintain required licensure, certifications, and eligibility to work in the United States throughout employment.
