Job summary

Westside Children’s Therapy Inc. in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Clinical Fellow, Speech-Language Pathologist to work under supervision, delivering therapy to children from birth to age 18.

You’ll develop and implement patient-specific goals, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and grow into areas such as Feeding Therapy and AAC evaluations, while benefiting from mentorship and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Pass the Praxis Examination in Speech-Language Pathology.
• SLP licensure or license eligible in Illinois; pediatric practicum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision and support of a seasoned Speech Therapist.
• Prepare and implement treatment plans for pediatric clients, from birth to age 18.
• Create client specific goals focused on effective communication, utilizing verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Provide support and guidance to the clients’ family enabling them to foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
