Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Current licensure in state of practice.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, diagnoses and treats disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
• Consults, educates and trains patients, families, and caregivers.
• Collaborates with care teams and stakeholders to deliver quality care.
• Mentors and supervises students and new hires.
• Participates in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings and staff meetings.
• Promotes continuous improvement initiatives as part of Intermountain Operating Model.
• Supports the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health.
• Meets productivity/efficiency standards for the department.
• Engages in continuing education opportunities for self and staff.
