Job summary

Intermountain Health in Bountiful, Utah is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. You will work with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

The role emphasizes collaboration, mentoring students and new hires, and participation in interdisciplinary conferences. A master's degree, current state licensure, and CCC-SSP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology or equivalent is required.
• Current licensure in state of practice is required.
• ASHA CCC-CC Preferred (not required) for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled, quality clinical services utilizing standard of care, and evidence/outcomes-based practices, with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity of service.
• Complies with system and regulatory requirements and guidelines for documentation, billing, and working hours.
• Maintains effective communication with peers, patients, families, caregivers and stakeholders.
• Participates in mentoring and supervision of students and new hires.
• Participates in patient care conferences, interdisciplinary meetings, and staff meetings in collaboration with leader.
• Promotes the Intermountain Operating Model and continuous improvement initiatives.
