Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing at the Bountiful Clinic. You will consult with patients, families, and caregivers, and collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates have a Master's in Communication Disorders/Speech Language Pathology, current state licensure, and preferably ASHA CCC.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
• Current licensure in state of practice.
• ASHA CCC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
• Consult, educate and train patients, families, and caregivers; collaborate with care teams and stakeholders.
• Provide skilled clinical services per standard of care with appropriate goals, duration, and intensity of service.
• Maintain documentation, billing and working hours in compliance with requirements.
• Participate in mentoring and supervision of students and new hires; attend interdisciplinary and staff meetings.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold Intermountain Health values and service standards.
• Meet productivity/efficiency standards for department; support continuing education opportunities.

Job Description:The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
