Job summary

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) seeks a Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatric for outpatient services in Anchorage. The role assesses, diagnoses, and plans care for children with communication and swallowing disorders in center-based settings.

Requirements include an ASHA-accredited degree or a Doctoral degree, Alaska licensure, BLS, and at least one year of experience with children with special needs. Alaska Native/American Indian preference applies; health screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-recognized program or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Alaska.
• At least 1 year of experience with children with special needs or disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinical speech and language pathology services to customer-owners in center-based settings.
• Assess, diagnose, and establish a plan of care and treatment interventions for communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to implement effective therapy and monitor progress.
