SEARHC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alaska to provide comprehensive SLP evaluations and therapy in inpatient and outpatient settings, including potential travel to remote locations by boat or plane. Qualifications

• Provides assessment, performs evaluation, identifies therapy diagnoses and formulates therapy plans for Speech-Language Pathology services.
• Delivers therapy plans and documents findings to ensure continuity of care and reimbursement.
• May travel to remote locations by boat or plane for multiple days in harsh weather.

Responsibilities

• Provides SLP services in pediatric inpatient and outpatient settings as assigned.
• Develops and implements patient education and home exercise programs for patient and family.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses and rehab staff to coordinate care and discharge planning.
