Job summary

Atlantic Health System in Morristown, NJ seeks a skilled, compassionate, fully licensed Pediatric Speech Pathologist to join our award-winning Atlantic Rehabilitation team. You will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to young patients, including infants who need specialized feeding support, in an interdisciplinary, patient-centered environment.

The role includes assessment, treatment planning, and delivering evidence-based interventions, with hours that extend into the evening.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLP program or equivalent.
• FULL License to practice Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Preferred: Outpatient pediatric experience.
• Preferred: Infant feeding experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and evaluates speech and language skills in educational, medical, social, and psychological contexts.
• Plans and conducts habilitative and rehabilitative treatment programs to restore communication.
• Provides counseling and language development therapy.
• Reviews background information prior to evaluation to determine tests.
• Administers, scores, and interprets specialized hearing and speech tests.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans and monitors progress.
