Job summary

West Texas Centers Little Lives Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) seeks a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or CFY Intern to deliver speech language therapy to children birth to 3 years old.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating communication and swallowing disorders, participating in IFSP planning, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and traveling to the child’s natural environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Valid Texas SLP license or CFY Intern status.
Experience with pediatric clinical or home health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication and swallowing disorders in children birth to 3 years old.
Participate in initial and ongoing developmental assessments and IFSP planning.
Communicate progress with an interdisciplinary team.
Travel to the child’s natural environment to provide services.
Engage and train parents on treatments and strategies.
Proficiency with Excel, Word, Google Drive, and EHR systems.
Complete clinical documentation meeting Medicaid and state requirements.
