Job summary

New Solutions in Kansas is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct pediatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. A flexible schedule supports patient care and productivity with options for full-time and part-time roles.

The role emphasizes evidence-based interventions for speech, language, feeding, and AAC, with collaboration across teachers, nurses, and therapy teams. CFY/new graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in S-LP or CSD required or equivalent.
• Arkansas license or eligibility for state's licensure is required.
• CFY/new graduates welcome.
• Pediatric experience with developmental disabilities, feeding, AAC, autism, or early intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based intervention addressing speech, language, feeding, AAC, and functional communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, nurses, caregivers, and other therapy disciplines.
• Incorporate developmentally appropriate, neuro-affirming, and relationship-centered approaches.
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans for functional outcomes.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Position Details:

• Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Full-time, part-time, and flexible schedules are available
• No weekend requirements
• Flexibility to structure daily hours around patient care and productivity expectations
• Potential for a condensed workweek, depending on caseload and coverage needs
• Ability to select the number of weeks worked annually, with up to four weeks PTO
• Nine separate holidays

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct pediatric speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based intervention addressing speech, language, feeding, AAC, and functional communication needs
• Collaborate with teachers, nurses, caregivers, and other therapy disciplines
• Incorporate developmentally appropriate, neuro-affirming, and relationship-centered treatment approaches
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans to support functional outcomes
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Arkansas SLP license or eligibility for appropriate state licensure
• Clinical Fellows and new graduates are welcome
• Pediatric experience preferred, particularly with developmental disabilities, feeding, AAC, autism, or early intervention
