Job summary

The Child Inspired in Huntersville, NC seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy in our office as well as in homes, preschools, and daycares. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current NC licensure or eligibility.
• CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
• Pediatric experience with speech and language disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and write plans of care reports.
• Provide therapy targeting speech, language, and communication skills in office and community settings.
• Coach and educate caregivers; follow up on results and recommendations.
• Communicate with parents about scheduling, goals, and progress.
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in each child’s care.
• Maintain documentation according to company standards.
• Share ideas for social media and blog; provide feedback to improve operations.

The Child Inspired is a private pediatric speech therapy practice in Huntersville, NC, serving families across the Lake Norman area. We support children 18 months and older through individualized, evidence-based, play-based therapy, with a strong focus on early identification and family partnership. Our team works in a collaborative environment that values professional growth, mentorship, and high-quality care.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who loves working with young children and their families, gets creative with play-based and child-led therapy, and enjoys coaching caregivers. You’ll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy in our office as well as in homes, preschools, and daycares.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and write plan of care reports that help families understand their child’s needs and next steps
• Provide therapy targeting speech, language, and communication skills, in our office and in the community
• Coach and educate caregivers, and follow up after evaluations to review results and recommendations
• Communicate directly with parents about scheduling, goals, and progress
• Collaborate with other professionals involved in each child’s care
• Maintain documentation according to company standards
• Share ideas for our social media and blog, and offer feedback on how we can improve day-to-day operations

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current NC licensure or eligibility
• CCC-SLP, with at least 1 year of experience preferred
• Pediatric experience with speech sound disorders and early language disorders
• Feeding and swallowing experience is a plus
• Private practice, outpatient, or in-home pediatric experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Availability Monday through Thursday 9am-5pm, and Friday 9am-12pm
