Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA seeks a Pediatric AMS/RPD Specialist Pharmacist (FTE 1.0, day shift, rotating every third weekend). The Pharmacist Specialty Services role provides guidance and education to patients and families within the pharmacy department.

You will perform patient outreach for specialty meds, coordinate with clinic staff to connect patients with specialty resources, and process prior authorizations while enrolling eligible patients in

Qualifications

• Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington.
• Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy experience preferred in hospital, retail, clinic or related setting.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• You will perform patient outreach to ensure accurate and timely filling of specialty pharmaceuticals.
• You will collaborate with clinic staff to connect patients with MHS specialty pharmacy resources.
• You will process prior authorization (PA) requests from specialty clinics.
• You will determine patient eligibility and enroll patients in copay and medication assistance programs when appropriate.
