Job summary

Signal Butte Kids' Dentistry and Orthodontics seeks a Dental Assistant to support clinicians and deliver the Perfect Patient Experience. You will prepare patients for exams, assist dentists, and help maintain a clean, sterile operatory while working closely with front office and specialty teams.

Responsibilities include radiographs and intra-oral photos, instrument sterilization, charting in the digital record, patient education, and daily team meetings.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state training.
• Dental certification/licensure as required by state law.
• Specialty assistants must have reliable transportation for multi-office travel.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinicians during dental procedures and ensure PPE is maintained.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist the dentist to provide care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments; maintain operatory cleanliness.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Record charting and clinician notes in the digital records system.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral health.
