Job summary

PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant for the Dentists of Midlothian and Orthodontics in Midlothian, TX. You will support clinicians to deliver a Perfect Patient Experience, while preparing patients for exams and assisting in various dental procedures.

Key duties include sterilization, radiography, tray setup, patient education, and chart documentation. Travel to multiple offices may be required; a valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and state required training for certification, licensure, or registration.
• Specialty dental assistants must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Travel to multiple offices per day is required, sometimes several times per day.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians by maintaining a PPE-focused patient care flow.
• Escort patients and coordinate with front desk and team members to keep schedules running smoothly.
• Sterilize instruments and prepare operatory per infection control guidelines.
• Assist with radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the clinician.
• Prepare procedure trays and manage supply levels in each operatory.
• Maintain patient charting and document clinician notes in the digital chart.
