Job summary

The Nemours Foundation seeks a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to fulfill the Central Florida Behavioral Health Hub role, providing a combination of care coordination and psychotherapy for children with ADHD, depression, anxiety, and autism spectrum disorders. Initially, the LCSW will assist the team in linking families to behavioral health services within the community.

After credentialing, the LCSW will transition to full-time psychotherapy, offering therapy to children and families

Qualifications

• MSW degree from CSWE-accredited program and active LCSW licensure.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and navigate Medicaid/CMS documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess biopsychosocial situations and establish goals.
• Reassess and modify care plans as needed.
• Provide social work services addressing social determinants and safety concerns.
• Consult with physicians and health-care team on psychosocial needs.
• Coordinate therapy sessions and provide parent training.
• Interface with community agencies for resources and referrals.
• Document interventions in the EMR following guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid, CMS and other regulations.
