Job summary

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for weekend pediatrics, with part-time and PRN opportunities. You will provide one-on-one therapy to children in their homes under the supervision of a licensed SLP, supporting communication, feeding and swallowing goals.

New graduates are encouraged to apply; Texas SLPA license required or eligible. Flexible scheduling, supportive team, and collaboration with therapists and nurses enable comprehensive

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited SLPA program.
• Current Texas SLPA license or eligibility.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for helping children improve communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric speech therapy services under SLP supervision.
• Implement individualized treatment plans for speech, language, articulation, feeding and social communication.
• Monitor progress and report updates to supervising SLP.
• Educate and support parents with home programs and strategies.
• Complete accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and other health professionals for family-centered care.
• Build positive relationships with children and families through one-on-one care.
