Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Active Texas SLPA license (or ability to obtain).
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services following plans created by the supervising SLP.
- Support students in articulation, expressive/receptive language, and social communication.
- Accurately document sessions and track student progress.
- Assist with implementing IEP goals and classroom carryover strategies.
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and supervising SLPs to support student outcomes.
