Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in the Willis, TX area for the upcoming school year. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.

You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while being supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
  • Active Texas SLPA license or ability to obtain.
  • Pediatric or school-based experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy services following plans created by the supervising SLP.
  • Support students in articulation, expressive/receptive language, and social communication.
  • Accurately document sessions and track student progress.
  • Assist with implementing IEP goals and classroom carryover strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and supervising SLPs to support student outcomes.

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
Active Texas SLPA license
