Job summary

Speech Improvement Center in West Covina, CA is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide pediatric therapy under licensed SLP supervision. You will conduct one-on-one sessions, implement treatment plans, and assist with screenings, tests, and progress notes. Join a collaborative team focused on helping children find their voice.

Location is West Covina with hours 9AM-6PM and a base salary of $30-$40 per hour? per year.

Qualifications

• Must have an SLPA license.
• Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field (CSD).
• Ability to work on a team and independently under a licensed SLP.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy to build each child’s speech and language skills.
• Carry out treatment plans written by supervising SLP.
• Support SLPs in conducting speech screenings.
• Administer and score standardized tests with SLP guidance.
• Keep client records current, documenting progress and plan adjustments.
• Collaborate with SLPs and SLPA team during regular meetings.
