Job summary

SOAL Home Health Services in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with speech and language disorders, improving communication and quality of life. You will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapy sessions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document progress.

Pay ranges from $55 to $100 per visit, with visits typically 35–60 minutes, and flexible scheduling plus mentorship and growth

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• ASHA Certification is required.
• Previous pediatrics and home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide therapy sessions to patients with speech and language disorders.
• Utilize a variety of techniques to improve communication skills.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patients' progress throughout treatment.
• Educate patients and families on strategies for improving communication outside of therapy sessions.
