Job summary

SOAL Home Health Services seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our Austin team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed SLP to deliver high-quality therapy to children with various diagnoses and help develop communication skills.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, direct patient care, progress documentation, family coaching, and collaborative planning with the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
• Texas SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric and/or home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement speech therapy treatment plans under SLP supervision.
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, play-based activities, and functional interventions.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to adjust plans as needed.
• Educate families on strategies for communication and skill development at home.
• Maintain timely, clear, and organized clinical documentation.
