Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a pediatric, school-based role in Durham, NC. The position runs Monday to Friday, about 8:00 AM–3:30 PM, serving K-8 students with a limited preschool population.

You will deliver language and articulation therapies, follow individualized plans, and collaborate with educators and families to promote skill carryover. New graduates are encouraged to apply and mentorship is available.

Qualifications

• Current or eligible SLP/SLPA certification/licensure in North Carolina.
• Strong interest in pediatric and school-aged populations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, educators, and clinical staff.
• New graduate SLPAs encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or co-treatment speech and language therapy sessions based on student needs and established goals.
• Support students with speech, language, and communication challenges.
• Provide therapy targeting language development and articulation skills.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
• Educate and support families to encourage carryover of skills into daily activities.
• Collaborate with parents, educators, SLPs, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain accurate clinical and treatment documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and requirements.
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations with supervising SLPs.
• Participate in team-based care and contribute to a positive learning environment.
