Job summary

Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym is hiring a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat children from toddlers through adolescents in a collaborative, play-filled environment.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, set individualized goals, and provide evidence-based therapy across articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC, while coaching families for home practice and coordinating with OT, PT, and ABA teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
• Active Texas SLP license or intern license, or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations using standardized assessments (e.g., CELF-5, PLS-5, GFTA-3) and clinical observation.
• Develop individualized, measurable goals and plans of care in partnership with families.
• Deliver evidence-based, play-based treatment for articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and AAC.
• Coach parents and caregivers with practical home strategies that carry progress beyond the session.
• Write timely, accurate daily notes, progress reports, and re-evaluations that meet payer and Texas regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with OT, PT, and ABA colleagues on shared clients and co-treat when it serves the child.
• Supervise SLPAs and Clinical Fellows, if interested and eligible.
• Meet a weekly productivity target that leaves protected time for documentation.
