Job summary

Skilled Therapy & Play Services in San Mateo and San Carlos, CA is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team. The role focuses on play-based, child-led approaches for ages 2-14, with sessions primarily clinic-based across two clinics and in-home/school settings as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active California SLP license.
• CCC-SLP credential.
• Experience with pediatric speech and language assessments.
• Experience with a range of pediatric diagnoses including ASD, ADHD, and sensory differences.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to pediatric clients in clinic, home, and school settings (primarily clinic-based).
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
• Collaborate with families to support carryover of skills into daily routines.
• Coordinate with BCBAs and OTs to provide interdisciplinary care when applicable.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active California SLP license

CCC-SLP

Experience with pediatric assessments
