• Provide speech and language therapy to pediatric clients in clinic, home, and school settings (primarily clinic-based).
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain clear, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and reports.
• Collaborate with families to support carryover of skills into daily routines.
• Coordinate with BCBAs and OTs to provide interdisciplinary care when applicable.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Skilled Therapy & Play Services | San Mateo & San Carlos, CA

We are seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative, interdisciplinary team of BCBAs, SLPs, and OTs. Our practice is rooted in play-based, child-led, and sensory-informed approaches, with a strong emphasis on connection, regulation, and functional communication.

We provide services across two clinic locations in San Carlos and one in San Mateo, as well as in home and school settings throughout the Peninsula. While services may span settings, the majority of sessions are clinic-based.

The SLP will provide high-quality, individualized speech and language services to the pediatric population (ages 2-14), working closely with families and a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s communication and developmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services to pediatric clients in clinic, home, and school settings (primarily clinic-based)
• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain clear, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and reports
• Collaborate with families to support carryover of skills into daily routines
• Work closely with BCBAs and OTs to provide coordinated, interdisciplinary care, if client is receiving multiple services from us

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP license
• CCC-SLP
• Experience with pediatric speech and language assessments
• Strong clinical experience working with a range of diagnoses, including:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Gestalt Language Processors
  • Sensory Processing Differences
  • Speech sound disorders, language delays, and social communication differences

Clinical Approach
