Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Florida license or provisional licensure for SLP.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Fingerprinting and Good Moral Character affidavit within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary meetings related to patient care.
  • Maintains and documents productivity standards set by leaders.
  • Documents daily patient data, statistics, and charges accurately and timely.
  • Ensures documentation reflects evidence-based practices.
  • Improves access to care for patients served.
  • Performs evaluations and provides recommendations based on findings.
  • Maintains open communication with patient and caregivers.
  • Develops and implements a plan of care with measurable goals.
  • Provides treatments based on clinical findings and patient needs.
  • Prepares patient/family for discharge when appropriate.
  • Provides evidence-based practices and peer review contributions.
  • Maintains CEUs for licensure and clinical excellence.
