Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist II - Pediatrics for the outpatient setting in Skokie, IL. The role involves evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for pediatric patients with complex conditions, under physician and supervisor guidance.

Responsibilities include comprehensive diagnostics, targeted treatment planning, and thorough documentation. Requires IL licensure, a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, and BLS/CPR certification; CCC is preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from a program accredited by ASHA.
• Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in Illinois required.
• BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required; CCC is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up for pediatric patients with complex or atypical conditions.
• Perform comprehensive diagnostics across articulation, language, cognition, memory, voice, and literacy.
• Develop and administer sophisticated treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation, billing and records per guidelines.
• Participate in clinical supervision of students.
