Job summary

North-Texas-Therapy-and-Home-Car is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality therapy services in patients’ homes or daytime facilities for ages 0–21, multiple times per week as directed by physicians.

The role requires CFY completion (CCC-SLP), pediatric and feeding experience, and a valid Texas license; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Driving is required for home health visits, with auto insurance kept current.

Qualifications

• Must have Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Texas license.
• CFY/CF-SLP completed (CCC-SLP) is required.
• Pediatrics experience is required; home health preferred.
• Feeding therapy experience is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus; valid driver’s license and auto insurance needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services in patients' home or daytime facility 0–21 years, 2+ times per week per physician orders.
• Define patients’ speech, language, voice, oral-motor, swallowing, feeding, auditory processing, and/or fluency impairment(s) with appropriate tests.
• Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate goals; advise, consult, and instruct team in therapy modalities.
• Plan for and modify care to meet therapy goals.
• Educate staff, caregivers, and patients with training materials and in-service programs.
• May supervise Clinical Fellows or Speech-LLanguage Pathology Assistants with 3+ years of experience.
