Job summary

KidsCare Home Health is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric therapy in children’s homes across Florida. You will assess and treat, then coach families to support language and communication goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• Valid state driver license.
• CPR certified.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical treatment to pediatric patients including screenings, evaluations, direct treatment, and family/caregiver training.
• Perform evaluations with emphasis on receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communication with patient and family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and family members to appropriate services and resources.
• Consult with physician on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment and participate in QA/QAPI programs.
• Attend Continuing Education activities and expand scope of service.
• Maintain adequate caseload with productive output.
• Collaborate with team and mentor students/new hires.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
