Job summary

KidsCare Home Health in Florida is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-home pediatric therapy across client homes. This therapist-owned organization emphasizes ethical care, balanced workloads, and flexible caseload scheduling for a healthy professional life.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current state-issued professional licensure.
• CPR certified.
• Valid state driver license.
• Pediatric clinical experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical speech therapy to pediatric patients in home health setting, including screenings and direct treatment.
• Perform evaluations focusing on receptive and expressive language, articulation, and auditory skills.
• Coordinate patient care with office staff and other disciplines.
• Maintain communications with family regarding progress and home programs.
• Refer patients and families to appropriate services as needed.
• Consult with physicians on patient progress and maintain records.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
• Attend QA and continuing education activities.
• Maintain adequate caseload and productivity.
• Collaborate with team and mentor students/new hires.
• Back-up service provider for other caseloads when needed.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
