Job summary

The Emerge Center in Baton Rouge invites a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct evaluation and therapy for children with delays/disorders. You will work within the Emerge School for Autism and clinic settings, delivering individualized and group sessions tailored to each child’s needs.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain thorough documentation, and communicate progress to families.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders required.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (or CF requirements).
• Current Louisiana licensure.
• At least 1 year pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language evaluation and therapy to clients.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain documentation (daily notes, reports, billing).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OT/ABA/behavioral health).
• Communicate with families about goals, progress, and recommendations.
• Attend staff meetings and client staffings.
