Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time school-based contract near Peyton, CO. The role supports K12 students with diverse communication needs, offering on-site or hybrid work options and a supportive team.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters in SLP/CSD, valid Colorado licensure (CDE credential if required), and ASHA CCC is preferred. CFY candidates are welcome with district supervision provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and write clear reports.
• Design and implement IEPs to meet individual student goals.
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy across 1–2 school sites with time for meetings/documentation.
• Maintain caseload notes, monitor progress, participate in IEP/ multidisciplinary meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to improve student outcomes.
• Provide supervision/mentorship to SLP Assistants as needed.

What Youll Be Doing

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and create clear reports for students with diverse communication needs.
• Design and implement tailored IEPs to address individual student goals.
• Deliver direct and indirect speech/language therapy services for students at one to two school sites, with paid time for meetings and documentation.
• Maintain thorough caseload notes, monitor progress, and contribute to multidisciplinary/IEP meetings.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes in a positive school environment.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants as necessary.

What Were Looking For

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
• Current or pending Colorado SLP license (plus CDE credential if required).
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence strongly preferred; motivated Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply and will receive district-provided supervision.

• Ability to clear background and fingerprinting checks per school requirements.
