Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced RN nurse to support a 3-year-old student with complex medical needs in a New Jersey school setting near South Amboy. This onsite contract emphasizes hands-on care, NG-tube management, and collaboration with educators and health staff.

Assignment runs 8am–3pm, weekdays, roughly 35 hours per week, from January 4, 2026 to June 24, 2027. Lifting and safe transport by bus are required, with a focus on patient comfort and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active RN license with school pediatric experience.
• Demonstrated competency with medically fragile children, non-ambulatory and non-verbal.
• Mastery in NG-tube care; prior NG-tube experience required.
• Ability to safely lift, transport, and position pediatric patients.
• Onsite-only setting in a school community.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily hands-on nursing care throughout the school day.
• Attend to the student’s feedings, medications, mobility, positioning, and related medical needs.
• Ride on school buses to ensure safe transport.
• Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and allied health professionals.
• Document and respond promptly to changes in the student’s status or needs.
• Serve as a compassionate advocate for the student’s well-being.
