Job summary

Orange County Public Schools seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to serve students in the ESE itinerant setting. The role emphasizes pediatric PT, evaluation, and development of individualized therapy plans integrated into IEP/504 goals.

You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other therapists to implement effective interventions and monitor student progress, ensuring services align with district standards and ADA/IDEA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed by the Florida Department of Health in Physical Therapy.
• One year of pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to students identified with or suspected of having a disability.
• Develop individual goals and objectives for students based on PT evaluations.
• Collaborate with instructional staff and families to integrate PT goals into IEP/504 plans.
• Maintain up-to-date treatment plans and appropriate documentation.
