Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract - part time position in Silver City, NM. The role offers compensation of $45 per hour and a 6.00 hour work period as listed in the posting.

Qualifications

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• One year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides occupational therapy services including treatment, implementation, standardized assessment data, and documentation to students in the school setting.
