Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based contract near Newberry, SC. The onsite role supports K-12 learners across multiple campuses, with a 37.5-hour week and paid admin time and team meetings.

You’ll evaluate disorders, write IEPs, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to improve communication and academic outcomes. Active state licensure in SC is required, CCC-SLP preferred, and background/fingerprint checks are

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
• Active or in-process South Carolina SLP state license.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete state background and fingerprinting checks before start date.
• Prior K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred; CFYs are encouraged to apply.

Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school-based setting near Newberry, SC. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic testing for students with communication disorders
• Develop, write, and implement individualized IEPs tailored for each student
• Deliver direct therapyboth individual and group sessionswhile tracking progress and documenting results
• Participate in IEP meetings, interdisciplinary team consultations, and staff development events
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary staff to create positive outcomes for students

Position Details:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week
• Assignments may include 12 school sites within the region
• Serve a diverse K12 caseload (detailed caseload breakdown shared during interviews)
• Includes paid administrative time and team meeting hours
• Onsite placement is required

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active or in-process South Carolina SLP state license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
• Must successfully complete state background and fingerprinting checks before start date
• Prior K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred; adaptable new clinicians and CFYs are encouraged to apply
