Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• California SLP license or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of pediatric speech-language disorders (articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication).
• Experience with assessments and evidence-based treatment plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication; timely documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to improve articulation, language, and social communication.
• Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust therapy strategies for outcomes.
• Prepare accurate documentation: evaluations, progress reports, plans, service records.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators.
• Communicate progress and strategies with parents and caregivers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and help set goals.
• Offer recommendations to educational teams on strategies and accommodations.
• Maintain compliance with state licensing and school guidelines.
